Where do the facts come from?

We rely on manufacturer websites and product pages, retailer listings, certification bodies and reputable public reporting. Prices are shown as ranges with the month they were checked, because they change frequently. When we cannot verify a fact, we leave it out or tell you to confirm it with the seller.

How is owner feedback used?

We summarise recurring themes that appear across retailer reviews, forums and consumer-complaint sites, and we say where they appear. We do not publish invented quotes, star ratings or scores that suggest measurements we did not take.

How are pages checked?

Every figure must trace back to a manufacturer page, retailer listing or reputable report before it is published. Drafts that add unsourced numbers, skip required sections or use filler are rejected. The site owner spot-checks published pages, and the sources, not opinions, decide what is true.

What do we not promise?

We do not promise pain relief or medical benefits; mattress choice is not medical treatment, and anyone with persistent pain should speak to a clinician. We do not rank products based on payment.

How do you handle conflicts of interest?

We do not accept payment, free products or advertorial deals in exchange for coverage or placement. Advertising is served by Google AdSense and is unrelated to editorial decisions. If this ever changes, for example by adding affiliate links, we will disclose it on every affected page and on our advertising disclosure.

How often are pages updated and corrected?

We re-check high-traffic pages regularly, and immediately when a reader reports an error. Each page shows its publication date, its last-updated date when changed, and the date its facts were last checked. Send corrections to contact@themattressreview.net.
